I wanted this design to reflect our connection to the land and the nature of belonging. 
The pípehó:m represents dual existences, at home in both land and water. This design also symbolizes my own transitions and the profound sense of belonging I carry for my home on Seabird Island, British Columbia. Conceptualizing the frog's leap from beautiful views in B.C. to my journey to Lafayette, Indiana. Far from home waters and terrain, leaping into an unknown path. While my future remains unwritten and my next destination uncertain, this design serves as a visual anchor. It honors the adaptability to thrive in a new environment. And firmly asserts that no matter where I leap to next, Seabird Island will always remain my true home.
